About this site

Photographs and panoramas by Egor Ukraintsev.

Cameras: Fujifilm GFX 50S II, Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the twin-lens medium-format Yashica-Mat 124G.

From several hundred thousand frames the photographs were sorted and scored by software: the aesthetic score comes from Aesthetic Predictor V2.5 (built on Google's SigLIP model), the topics from SigLIP, and the short titles from the BLIP captioning model. Visitors' votes then correct the score.

Contrast and brightness of the photographs were corrected automatically; panoramas with empty stitching edges were cropped automatically and got the same correction. Horizon level, white balance and framing were not corrected.

The site was built with Claude (Anthropic).

For now the site shows 2061 photographs, a selection from 4 TB of photographs. More will be added after a new hard disk is bought.

Prices of the full-size files: a photograph 10 €, a panorama 30 €, a gigapixel panorama 100 €, a time-lapse video 30 €.
